CD 3's

Got in a bunch of new baits today . With them , were these little CD 3 's .

Dont think Ive seen these two colors in this small of a size ? Any one seen them ? Id like to find them NIB if I could .

saw these some time back in the catch of the day era, had a couple of the SB, but sold them before i really got into hard core collecting, saw them alot with the RCL's, but the RFSH there, not sure i saw any CD any size in that color back then. cool stuff

Now that I know at least the SB was some what available , I will keep my eyes peeled for one NIB .

I definitely had all 3 NIB in one point. I will give a gander in the collection. I think they were catch of the day's as Jeff says.

Hi Jason.

i got 5 CD3s last week from france.
2 were in wrong box, RH came in CD3 RFSH box.
you can have this box - or you can have a NIB CD3 RFSH - let me know.

... and if you ever find CD3 SB NIB, please get one for me too, i want for the CD3 collection, but i really need for my SBs.

and Mark, if you should ever find a CD3 SB, please get 2 of them ...

Best I can find is a CD-11 SB on ebay, but that doesn't help does it?lol

Wait, I can't tell cause it's not a very good picture, but it almost looks like the CD-3 SB. See if any of you can make it out any better.

OK, im no expert, but the lip on that looks like a countdown, and i thought the smallest size of original was 5cm, but im probably wrong, in fact, i know im wrong lol

well, i think the lip on a CD3 and a F3 is identical.
on the bigger ones you can see the difference of floater and sinking on the lip, but not on the #3. i guess thats why they print on the belly of the newer F3 "floating".
i have to admit i did not take very many out of their boxes, so i may be wrong here.
anybody else noticed this?

I don't have them in front of me at the moment but I'm sure the CD3/CD5 has a concave lip whereas the F3/F5 has a flat one. Apart from that they are almost identical. Of course you can always put an F3 in one hand and a CD3 in the other and feel the weight difference
