Hi-
Just wondering if anyone can confirm the Canadian only theory on these shad raps. Alot of people have said the pearl whites were Canadian only but they are everywhere in the US. Any way I ran across a few of these last weekend.

rapanatic, Yeah Ive heard the GFR Shad Raps (along with the PW ones) were 'Canada' only, although the PW ones are everywhere on ebay these days. Hadnt seen any GFRs on ebay in quite some time though.... Oh, and welcome aboard!  |

I've started seeing some PW for sale in the US but I've only seen the GFR at locals that have canadian dist.

I might be parting with 1 of these but it's kind of hard to when these are the first I have gotten my hands on. I have'nt even opened a package but I oogle it through the plastic window-lol. I will let you know.

I will let you know. LMAO, I agree. Ive found certain lures/pattersn where I would buy 3 of each color size. One to collect, one to fish wish, and the other to hold 'just in case'. I usually chicken out when it comes time to tie it to a line, lol... |

i was told that they were only available in canada also, but Scheils sports (kinda like a dicks sporting goods) used to carry both the PW and GFR on the SR's, all kinds of sizes, and i did buy a few, but i think i have sold them all by now, i just dont even know what i have and what i dont anymore, i hope this fall after we move and i have room, i might be able to sort it all out. im hoping that this spring Scheils will restock there shelves with those goodies and i might be able to get plenty of them. however i did find one GFR SR-5 at a small local bait shop one day, and bought it along with about a dozen of the TD-7 in golden rainbow trout Special. how they got any of them is beyond me, no one there seemed to know... something fishy! jeff
