MAJOR haul today!!

So a coupla of months ago I scored a ton of CDJs at a flea market, and after I unpacked them they put a sales slip in the bottom with the bait shops name and address.

I didnt think anything of it, until recently. I figured if they had CDJ's they prolly had more old stuff.

So today I knocked off work early and took a ride there, it was about an hour away from my work.

So I get there and its immediately a drool-fest. It was a crappy little bait shop, but those are the ones that always seem to have old stock.

So here is what I walked out with!

No MFR's in Blue though...dammit...oh well

All that for $194...guy cleaned me out, doesnt take credit cards!

The killer is, he had a ton of stuff on the shelves that I had to leave behind, ran out of cash. He's got at least 100+ more old fat raps, more huskys, and more tough MFRs. This doesnt even include the more recent disco'd stuff, such as SSR-8s in G, SG, SB, and SR-9s in SG, SB, etc.

I can only hope he's got more stock left for me when I get a chance to visit there again.

Not only that, but he had a ton of other old stock stuff too, like Heddons, Rebel Natural Baitfish series lures...I should have checked to see if he had any Bagley lures too...dammit just remembered.

It was hard to leave knowing anybody could swoop in there (like me, lol) and clean out the rest of this stuff. His stock could keep me busy on ebay for weeks.

Next time I plan a trip down there, I will definitely let you guys know ahead of time.

Did you happen to see any of the old Storm lures at this place? I'm always looking for some of the old Storm lines (Rattle Tots, Wiggle Warts, Deep Jr Thundersticks)and some of the hard-to-find Rebel Fastrac colors. They are really good lures here in Michigan.

Probably, although I really didnt notice too much Storm stuff. But I did see a ton of Rebels, so I wouldnt be surprised if he had Fastracs as well. Im sure he did, that place is an ebay gold mine. Too bad the guy doesnt live closer to me...and accept credit cards

Need to unload any of that stuff to a needy fat rap collection? I would be interested in a few mini's and a SFR-7 SFC. I have cash and got to keep plugging on this huge display. Maybe I should fly out there and take a Rapala vacation. Maybe not though as my better half would get me personalized plate with my screen name. Let me know. Nice score BTW.
