Hi folk. Yes it's discontinued for long time. The Green Roach was made in Finland in the mid to end '90s till production end and was gone to Ireland where they were stamped as GSH (Green Shiner) and much later to GSH (Gold Shiner) for some from Ireland and Estonia. The pattern was never changed.

Hallo Jörg.
do you want to say if GRO is printed on it it is coming from FINLAND? and even if it does not say >> green roach << but just GRO it is green roach?
and the GSH (green shiner) and GSH (gold shiner) all look exactly the same? how can you distinguish them when they come w/o box? the lip, maybe.
thanks, wolfgang

Hello Wolfgang, well I must say all my older SSR14's are whole original boxed and came from dealer shops all around Germany long before ebay starts. Look here. rapala.proboards28.com/index.cgi?board=gallery&action=display&thread=1185350798I have some smaller CDSR 5-8's in the xROache pattern and they all came from Finland which are called "Red" or "Green". The whole set of xSHiners I own just started in Ireland with marked lips and boxes. Later Shiners like the BSH came from Estonia and are still in production. Thats all I know about. Let me check the GRO/GSH bills for Fin or Ire first and I'll post some pics. how can you distinguish them when they come w/o box?I quite agree with you. When the lure is unboxed it's hard to distinguish where he come from.

Sorry no, it's just the glace from the flash light. As I wrote the both are fully identical painted. The only way to distinguish is the bill. I've bought a 2nd GRO last weekend and it looks like the other ones I posted earlier.
