SSR08 NEW for 2009??

hi guys,

i just received a mail from a shop, they list SSR-8 in 6 colors as

"NEW for 2009"

has anybody of you heard about that?
maybe another re-edition; they dont show pics, but i wouldnt be too surprised if this is the next "CLASSIC COLLECTION RAPALA"

it seems they got some old colors like S, SD, ...
and some i have not seen in #8 before, like FP and RFSH.

Hmmm...I do remember the FirePerch being a limited Cabela's only color, available on all Shad Rap models, including SSR's but I dont think they had a SSR8...


I never understood the whole 'Size 8' thing with Shad Raps to tell you the truth...

If this is true that they re-released this lure I would bet well never see it in the US like everything else

If this does happen I'll be searching my best on Ebay for them. I have 3 classic SSR8's including SG, SB, and SD. The SSR is my favorite and most productive freshwater lure. Has caught me 4 out of my 5 biggest bass.
