Awhile back I made a post about a old CD-7 that I bought from ebay a couple of years ago with a lip meant for a CD05, and the general thought was that someone else modified the lure. I don't think that was the case because I just got another one today with the same size lip. This doesn't sound like a coincidence to me. Vintage CD-7 by itself Next to a Ireland CD-7 notice the lip sizes? Notice the lip size next to a CD-5 ? All 3 together. Rapala had to produce the CD-7 with this lip size at some point. I have 2 of these now so if anybody wants one for their collection let me know .

Hi Steve.
i get a message here for your pictures:
Oversized Image - please use link to view
since you are posting quite a few of (very nice) pics, may i ask if it would be possible to scale them down before posting them?
i went through all your custom paints recently, and it took me over 30 min to have all 4 pages fully loaded. some of these images are very big, would it be possible to change this?
thank you, wolfgang

Your complaint would probably be better directed toward Ted.I have changed my camera settings because this happened before. Like I said they show up fine on my computer I think from now on I'll just quit posting pics as it seems to be a thorn in everybody's backside.

Hi Steve.
this is exactly what i did not want from you. we all want to see your pictures here! i dont know why, but some of your pics, actually most of them are OK. but a few are very big.
i usually size down all my pictures by at least 50%.
my program is called photopaint, i have used photoshop before. all of them give you the option to scale donw pics, either by giving a new size or giving a %-value of how big you want them to be. this is one additional step before posting them. it takes some time, but if you do it routinely, it just is a few seconds per image, and we all can enjoy all your nice pics much faster.
and yes, you are right, this has to do with camera settings. if you take pics for having them as paper prints, your camera is set for this. these pictures will appear on the screen in a size of something like 20x30 in. or so.
but to post on the internet, you dont need that high quality. so you can scale down with some kind of program.
please try again.
thank you, wolfgang

Don't Do That!!!!! Your custom jobs are one of the best things here!! I don't care if it takes longer to load 'em than it takes to paint 'em, keep those pics coming!!

I really don't know what else I can do.I changed my camera settings and some come out fine and some come out huge.It really seems to do this with the pictures of custom lures.I have tried the resize image thing with imageshack but that makes them too small. I'm not the best with all these different computer options yet but I'll ask Ted for some advice on what I can do. I apologize for sounding crabby Wolfgang but this picture thing has been a pain in my ass for sometime now
