Hello all,
Found a new old stock Fat Rap today. Its the FR-7 B Finland. The lady at the store said that is has been at their shop since they opened in 1994 or 95.
Is there a way to date these things to an exact year made?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Im going to say no . There is no way to give an exact date . Your best bet is to see what the copy write date is on the mini catalog . But there are many years that dont have a copy write on them . Not worth opening the box to find out in my oppinion .

I have a FR-7 B in the black oval box that shows copyright 1978 Normark Corp. and fat raps offered in only 4 colors. Looking forward to meeting Mr. Lipripper here for a visit this week. Lipripper, a Rapala collector, can voice his opinion about the "blue tiger" FR-7 that I posted recently since most other collectors feel it is a FT faded and bleached by the sun.  |
