Just got back from my annual trip to ELY,MN. Weather was terrible. We got fish but not as many as other years. I tried a white glass shad rap and caught bass, pike and wallye on it. good lure. It caught more fish then any of my other shad raps. I trolled it mostly. It runs about 12 feet deep. My wife proved that color is not as important as depth and other factors by using a blue gill shad rap to catch walleyes and pike. there are no blue gills on the lake we fished. When we arrived the surface temp. was 69 degrees. When we left it was 63 degrees. with a front like that I guess we were lucky to catch any fish.
