Can any one here tell me what the best super shad rap colors for pike are? I already have the firetiger color one, because thats a no brainer color for pike, and was wondering what other colors are good producers for pike.

Hi-
The Red Head and Perch color do good around here. I would like to try a blue gill if I could find one. Just my 2 cents.

What do you think about the newer walleye color? It looks pretty realistic, and im sure pike wouldn't mind taking a swipe at it.

Well I dont normally fish for pike, but my guess with cold clearer water that the old shad pattern would work. I usually start out with the simple patterns first then work my way to the more complex patterns if those dont work - just my opinion.

From my experience, when I catch pike, walleye and or perch in the same water, pike loves to eat the other two. Red head is a classic pike color. Bluegill color works great too. I have good luck using live chubs and suckers, so colors like mullet and shiner work too.
