Howdy again, Like I mentioned, I've been putting in quite a few extra hours. For one reason.....I want a new tool.. I have the basic fish finder, it's been really useful... But.. This Aqua-Vu underwater camera system has really caught my attention.
The idea of being able to watch a B/W screen of what's down there has me interested.
For example, I know the bottom is is hard, but is it small rocks? large rocks? do these trans into snad or soft bottom, sure my fish finder tells me the basic difference's, but would'nt it be cool to actuall see what's down there.
Are the fish I've marked 'walleyes' who knows it might be Or are they suckers... If only I could see.....
Well, if I read the Aqua-Vu info right, this is the tool for me. No I won't get rid of my fishfinder, I'll just add a Aqua-vu to my equipment list (just the basic model) I may not like it, so I don't want to be out a LARGE sum of money.
Basic unit run about $199.99
anyway, Has anybody here used one? own One? Have any thoughts about them?
Thanks Steve "Rapala-Guru"

I just recently purchased one . Ive been to busy to take it out in the boat yet . Although I did try it out in my aquarium ;D Is pretty sweet you can pan around in both directions checking every thing out . I really purchased it to try and figure out a way to mount it to my down rigger ball . I really want to see a big old 40 lb Salmon slam my rig . . When I get it figured out I will post on here .

Some where I've read or seen a little attachment that will allow you to hook it up to a down rigger. If I find it, I'll post it here.
Thanks for the info... BTW, What type of fish in the tank. I had a few for about 15 years. I was into African Cichlids. My largest Tank was a really nice 150 (Had to get rid of it, when I got the Wife) She's now a Ex and I don't have any of my Aquarium suff cept a couple of really nice books.
