How well do tail dancers do for walleye. I have a silver, and emerald shiner #7 taildancer, and want to use these for walleye in canada.

I had great success with them last season as I landed my biggest eye of the year on one (7 lbs). I prefer the colors not made anymore. The Redtail Chub and Hot Chub produced the best for me. I like to work the weed lines parallel with the good ol stop and go cranking really slow but they troll nice also. Just my 2 cents

I would have to go with a perch colored one. I don't own any, but the perch colored wally divers work wonders for me. Tail dancers look to be modeled after the divers.

Shallow Tail Dancers work great for water as shallow as 5ft. Early season walleye love std-7 tail dancer. Try running 30ft to 40ft lead, than an inline planner board. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
