Back at the job it's busy as usual, nontheless I managed to spend half a day counting all the Rapalas available in Japan today (www.rapala.co.jp) and here are the results of color and size combinations available -> Magnum = 240 Count-Down = 214 Floating = 169 Shad Rap (family) = 153 Husky Jerk (family) = 128 Dives-To (family) = 84 Tail-Dancer = 76 Jointed = 60 Fat Rap = 38 Others = 374 All in all you can purchase 1536 different Rapalas in Japan (not counting the jigs and Minnow spoons) If one wants to collect all readily available models that would cost in the neighbourhood of $2000 +/- Hmm, I think I will stick to the old hard-to-find finnish made ones

Yes that surprised me as well, though the number covers floating as well as sinking Magnums. Note! The amount of $$ needed to purchase them all is around 10 times as much as mentioned above Ouchhh... Think you can find a vintage Ferrari 308 on ebay for 20K with a little luck

Glad you posted a follow-up. I seen 1500 lures for 2K and was going to say gimme 3,000 lures and call it a day!!!! Luckily, I only have a used vehicle hanging on my wall right now. If I keep going after them CDJ lures, it might move up to a new car Scary isn't it.
