As of late the water is pretty warm on the top end especially during the day. I have to work the 20-25' areas to consistently pull up walleyes the past few weeks. I love to drift using monster leeches at about .4 - .7 mph for a real nice natural presentation. Just toss out the the right size socks and float-What I did not expect was to tie into some decent bass. I have never caught bass fishing this way and I have used this method alot in the past. Biggest small mouth was 21.25" and 5.5 lbs which was rather fun on my med-light poles I use for drifting. I know these dumb fish eat anything-I mean they would probably hit a bouncing bobber if they had it in their eyesite . Anyone else had this experience?
