Risto Raps -- Did these ever catch on? I used to see tons of these in discount bins, and I never read about them in magazines. They seemed like a good idea. Anyone got the lowdown?
Fat Raps -- Seems like these were Rapala's first big push into the bass-style fat-body crankbait market. Evidently they were designed by Roland Martin. But they never caught fire. The bass pros seem to prefer the plastic body crankbaits. Anybody have any thoughts on this?
Just curious...

I think a SFR-5 or 7 in the perch color i great for bassin'. Personally I've landed many different species of fish on the fat rap. Even at night by the big weed beds the fat rap brings bass. Don't know what to say about the Risto's - thought I read once that they put alot of R and D with that lure in the upper midwest but they probably do for all their lures.
