Just receives an E-mail from my German " Friend " about Ebay itemnumber: 110040627727
Hello, some Ebayer have written to me which they have written some lies to news about the old Shad rap about Rapala SSSR. These are no copies. these were produced years ago in completely few numbers of pieces for salted water, hence, also of plastic. There are completely few of it. I would like to ask you to omit from your lies / supposition and not to bother other EBAYER with your news. Gru'ß Tobigarde.

It says that its a really old lure, but the booklet that comes with it has a risto rap on it, so it cant be older then like 10 or 12.

Just got another reply from another guy. This is what he says about this lure. Perhaps there is someone on the forum that can confirm that what he says is thrue. I still think it's a fake lure.
This is what he says:
In the 70th or 80 him to years these Rapala became for the sea fishing as an experiment hergestelltDie Wobbler, therefore, are from plastic were done, so that these burst not so fast as Holzwobbler. I know this these Rapala for a short time were produced, but without product code. These are definitively no forgeries, but a really collector's item. They are so rare which surprises it me, in the Ebay are. And vorsicht with such assertions, this can go with others to the trousers. esox19

How about the eyes, did Rapala ever glue their eyes on lures?? I only see painted eyes on their lures.

I just have to question one more thing on this auction. He states it is a floating rattling SSSR14??? He also states that it weighs 1 5/8 oz. Strange that a "floating rattling" would weigh exactly the same as a floating lure. Do the RFR and FR lures weigh the same? Of course they do!!!! The RFR4 weighs exactly the same as the FR5

Maybe this guy was fooled into believing what he has are real and so he tries to convince us of that as well. I dunno.

Who ever made these went through a lot of trouble to include the Rapala diving lip, but not the hooks, or eyes

Everything this guy lists is super rare - or "A Rarity" - even just a FR-7 Silver.
