I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE HAD FOUND ANY HUSKY JERKS HJ-12 IN SBB COLOR. I RAN INTO TWO DIFFERENT COLOR PATTERNS CALLED SBB. ONE CALLED SILVER BABY BASS, ONE CALLED SILVER BASS. THE SILVER BABY BASS HAS SORT OF A RAINBOW COLORING OVERTOP OF THE SILVER BASS COLOR.
ALSO PICKED UP A CD-9 SH SILVER SHINER, A LONG CAST LCM-10 C CHUB CHEVESNE, AND A HUSKY JERK HJ-6 MN MINNOW VAIRON.

Hmmm, I might have to check into this!
I not sure about it.
I'll try to find some time and do a litle research.
I'll pull up my Project Rapala Notebook files and look iinto this.

I no this isnt a HJ , but is the bottom RNR similar in color . That is also SB with orange belly and kind of a metalic blue top .  |

THE RNR LOOKS TO BE EXACTLY THE SAME COLOR AS MY HJ-12 SBB SILVER BASS. MY HJ-12 SBB SILVER BABY BASS IS THAT COLOR BUT WITH THE PALE RAINBOW COLORS OVER THE BASS PATTERN. BY THE WAY, NONE OF THE ONES I PICKED UP YESTERDAY WERE MARKED `SPECIAL' FOR SOME REASON. I'LL POST A PHOTO OF MINE LATER. THANKS, JASON.

I could be wrong but i believe this is a special due to the orange belly . I have another RNR coming from Japan that is just like this one but with out the orange belly . When it shows up I will see what the color code is on it .

Yes, now that you post a picture I remember these two. Same hanging tab but a slightly different color to each. They were made originally in one color and then the next year they changed it when they started to discontinue the color. Never was much of a seller. They must have run out of the original paint colors.  |

Rapala sold the green Baby Bass (BB) and the Silver Baby Bass (SBB) in all five sizes HI-13-12-10-8-6. Also DHJ- 14-12. If you have any other questions about the Husky Jerk please ask. In your picture of the two lures on the end of the boxes it should say (HJ---SBB) in the picture there is also a HJ-6-MN ( Minnow) but was only sold in sizes HJ-10-8-6.
