Just wondering if anyone here has used any kind of commercial worm bedding and how was it?
Thanks, Jeff

Just add a quart of water per 16 ounce (1 pound) of bedding and it softens right up!

I have used Fat-N-Sassy and have had great luck with it - I have found that the longer you can leave the crawlers in "dirt" or the peat that they came in (most come from Canada here in the States) that the more the fish like them - It is more natural.

The biggest thing with worm bedding is feeding your crawlers. Frabil makes a corn meal type food to sprinkle on top of the bedding. When you feed crawlers you will have to change the bedding every 2-3 weeks to keep them clean. The colder you can keep them (close to freezing) is the best.
