Well, I finally got my boat back from Tracker. Only took them a week to get the oil tank in and 20 minutes to actually change the tank out. Glad to see they charged me 1.5 hours of labor. And I work there! That was 50-60 R units I could have spent elsewhere.
Going to hit the lake tomorrow. Would have went today, but my battery in my 2 year old truck took a dump. I am glad it waited until I was an hour from home and leaving work at 10:30 at night to do it. Good news was it was still under warranty. Really good news since it is an 86 series battery, and no one carries those except the dealer.
With any luck tomorrow, the cats will still be prespawn (lots of cold weather blew through here this week) and the gills will be in the pads.

Thanks. Hit some skinny water today. Just fished from shore. 5 largemouths, 11 gills, 8 goggle eyes. Picked em all up using ultralight. Now that's fun!

Caught 8 Browns around 18 inches myself on 4lb test ultra light around big rocks. That too, proved to be very fun, though its not often I fish for trout.

Just got back from the lake. Stinking front moving in. Caught 5 fish in the first hour, then everything shut off on me. Atleast it wasn't a new lake. I like very favorable conditions when I hit a new body of water. I bet those browns were fun!!! You should be stocking up on those perch though You still have ice LOL.
