Pretty stained water, visibility about 18 inches...I think the max depth of my lake is about 20'....any ideas once the water cools down?
Larger lure sizes?
Thanks,
Ted

What species are you fishing for? And generally fall means larger lures.

Casting J-11 GFR, CDJ-11GFR for stained and CDJ-11S for clear waters are best fall patterns for northerns here in lakes or streams. But must be a sunny day. Maybe some deep runners DRFR-7P and SD and CDSR14 SSD/PSH for trolling.

I really never fished for largemouths in the fall, mostly walleye.F-18's and F-13's in the clown color seem the work the best for me.I would have to agree with shadrap712 on the Husky 13.The other day I had good luck with the Husky 13 RH and CW.

Hi Steve.
i guess you should delete the comment about H13 RH. some people may not like to hear you use these for fishing ...

Hi Steve.
you mean the H13 RH - hard to find or really rare ... ??
i have seen 3 of these in the last 18 months. as many as i have seen 26 SM magnums.
to compare with, i have seen at least 10 H13 GBP, 25 H13 PM, about 20 MFR3 B in the same time span. even of the dark CW with red spots i have seen 4 or 5; the last one of these on ebay sold for 122.50.
if you go to older posts on this forum, you may find that some guys were desparately looking for a MFR3 B.
the H13 RH has not even been talked about here i think ...
i guess you could say these are VERY VERY rare. and if you have one of these NIB to spare i know somebody who wants to have it ...

Hi.
Steve said: I had good luck with the Husky 13 RH
since there is no HJ in 13, i guess he means the real one (but somehow i hope he doesnt ...)

Yes I was fishing with a Husky 13 RH Finland. When my Grandfather passed I got his tackle and this lure was in there,I had no idea what to make of this lure so I used it ,and it worked great. Now that I know a little more about it,its going into safe keeping.I wish I would have known about this earlier as now it has a few teeth marks on it In there was a Rapala that I have never seen I will try and get a picture of it posted. Its a countdown model that has the same profile as the Husky 13 What would this be?

Wolfgang I will be checking out some small tackle shops up north here in a bit also some estate sales so I'll keep my eyes open for you and let you know what I find. This is covert mission I'am going on so the wife won't know what I'am spending on lures if she found out how much I spend on lures would she be (lol) Steve
