Picked up this sweet Indian River 13' fiberglass wide-bottom canoe at a garage sale today for 100 bucks... ;D
Now all I need is a trolling motor mount of it and Im all set!
It's a pain in the ass moving around my 16' by myself, which is the main reason it stays on the canoe rack down at the lake...but now I can finally go back and visit some old favorite places!

Did I mention how excited I was? ;D
Anyway, I have some pretty serious back problems, and humping that 16' canoe all over the place by myself is generally not a good idea.
That's why it stays on the rack by my lake association that I belong to.
Don't get me wrong, fishing my 'home' lake has been fun as hell, but I miss some other great local spots that I need to get back to...
Off the top of my head.. Lake Aeroflex, Little Swartswood Lake, Ryker Lake, Splitrock Reservoir....damn....can't wait...

Hey Ted, I'd be right behind them.I friggin hate spiders In the Army I had a Black Widow take up residence in my helmet.I almost put it on my head before I noticed it in there.Ever since then those damn things give me the heevy geevys  |

Very nice canoe, and I'm with on the spiders. Never seen a black widow thankfully, but have seen some pretty big and ugly wolf spiders walk across my basement floor   |

Hey Nate, Ya didn't really have to post that pic,the hair on the back of my neck just stood straight up I remember seeing some of those in my dad's woodpile.MAN THOSE THINGS ARE CREEPY!!!!!!

Friend of mine ended up in the hospital because he put on his work gloves and there was a brown recluse in it...if not, something pretty damn venomous...
Pretty sure brown recluse spiders aren't in this area, maybe it was a widow or a bad allergic reaction...but his entire arm swelled up to 3x its size, just from a bite on his hand.
