I have seen on ebay different sellers that have lures advertised as GOBY are these the same as the Muddler color? I have a HJ10 GOBY and it looks the same as the J13 MD I also have.

Im just throwing this out there with out any research . Maybe the Goby is only on the plastic lures , and the Muddler is on the wood lures .

The sellers that have these also have the F-9 in Goby pattern.Maybe something is different because the Countdowns that look like this are MD's.

I know on different models they call the same paint scheme different names. Silver minnow on F18 vs SBB on SSR.
Even within the shad rap family itself they call the same color by three different names. Roach, Shiner, Silver Shiner. And then there is another Silver Shiner that doesn't look anything like the other Silver Shiner.

Have Minnow Rap MR-7 and 9 in Goby Made of balsa. Have Huskey Jerk HJ-8 and 9 in Goby Made of plastic.
They look the same as J-13 Muddler I have.

The only difference I see is the CD09 has chartreuse on the underside of its tail. The basic pattern is exactly the same.
The J13 MD I have is exactly the same as the Goby HJ-10.

I was told and have not check into it but the goby was made for Dick's sporting goods and they put it on lures that did not have the muddler pattern. Like I said this is hear say.

That is the only place I have seen the Goby pattern. I understand that it is available in other markets outside of the US. The situation reminds me of the Hot Tiger pattern which was only available at Frank's Sporting Goods (Michigan, United States) but seems to be available in the market in Japan and possibly several others.
