Man, that's a neat looking lure! Never ever have seen one out here, then again, this is hardly squid/octopus country...luckily. It'd be cool just to have one in the box as a conversation piece... Who knows, maybe there's even a really twisted trout or pike out there who'd give it a snap.

i saw a magnum (or perhaps cd magnum, i can't remember) squid version in a shop, about 2 years ago... i didn't know rapala made squid lures, since these are not in the italian catalog...

it seems these are only available here in europe - which i dont quite understand why ... but rapala seems to do things like this ... what would you think about 4 of them in one pack? www.tradera.com/RAPALA-DEALERS-CASE-auktion_100021608i guess this auction will not get a bid, although about $300 for 4 of them doesnt seem too much to me; but then you will have the shipping. i asked the seller if he would ship for me to germany and for how much - no response yet - guess he doesnt want to - maybe he will answer when auction ends without bid ... as far as i know, the dealers here get these boards for buying a certain amount of rapala. they sometimes have these offers to buy assorted models, sizes and colors in packs of 1000, 2000, 5000, and then they will get 1 or 2 or 3 or more of these for free as a little extra. i dont think rapala salespeople are travelling around with stuff like that to show to dealers available models, they look more like advertisement boards to me to show the fishermen in the shop what they all have to offer; at least the ones who dont want to have a look in a catalog, or who have never been here. my dealer had 6 of them - i traded him 3 for a bunch of ristos. best, w.
