I was experimenting with different knots for tying a heavier mono line to my main line and was quite surprised out how weak the standard knots are So I did a fair bit of Googling and came across somebody else that had a similar opinion but he had invented a new stronger knot - it really is. But his instructions are really quite complicated -- so.... I re-invented it making it easier to tie ;D You can see how to tie it here: www.oliveroot.net//fishing/climar_knot/climar_knot.htmlI even gave it a name: the Climar Knot. It's a combination of a 'Clinch' and a 'Palomar' knot - hence the name. Test it and let me know what you all think..... Blessings, Nigel

This knot is not for old guys!! I have a hard time to tie my shoelaces especially if I dont have my glasses!! Try it a few times and it gets real easy. I also need glasses to tie anything less than 10lb strain Hey, maybe I should invest in some of that Yo-Zuri Hi-Res mono
