Hi Nigel,
I believe these are discontinued.i looked in the Rapala catalogs that I have and didn't see them in there either.

They're discontinued in the US but they still make them for other parts of the world. If you click on "world" on Rapala's home page you'll see they have the Long Casting Minnow on there.

Not anymore they don't but if they do, they certainly aren't advertising them. I don't even think Rapala Japan has them on their site anymore either. |

I'm resurrecting this thread as I really need some more LC10's or something with similar characteristics. I love them! They fly great and far and have a great action. They float and are shallow runners - which is perfect for fishing over shallow reefs.
So what is there out there? It doesn't have to be a Rapala but better if it is (perhaps the new MXR11 or the FLR10?).

I'm surprised no one has answered your question yet - but for a certain size - I like the eskos - it's too bad they don't make them in different or bigger sizes!
While we are on the subject of size - how many different sizes of long casts are there?
I'll also send you a pm - I have a few spare LC's laying around I wouldn't mind trading.

I'll also send you a pm - I have a few spare LC's laying around I wouldn't mind trading. the lc was made in 8, 10 and 12, most of the 12's were saltwater versions, but they made some fresh also. and you might want to check out the japan FS(fast sinking) CD's, they have the same esko lip, but are in other sizes, however they are heavy heavy. bacon |
