hi john, get skitter pop size 5cm and 7cm...there's no bass in my country so i cant help on the colour choice but when the fishing gets tough throw the skitter pop 5cm..it can do the magic sometimes..

If your water is super clear then you're probably better off going with more natural colors instead of FireTiger or HotClown.
I figure you can't go wrong with a size#7...even though the bass might be small, their mouths arent.

my opinion is based on my fishing experience in Malaysia...u should take fishooked's advice more seriously on the #7...good luck!! dont forget to post pics of your catch..

On that note, personally I have been finding myself going with much larger lures as of late. And it seems that for bass anyway, the size of a lure isn't really a deterrent for the smaller fish either.
So for me its worth it to throw something bigger; sometimes that larger bait might actually get that bigger bass to get moving where it might ignore a smaller bait.

The #7 black and silver is the go-to for me here in Michigan. #2 is shad. I have caught bass from the size of the #7 up to around 24 inches on the skitter pop.
