I struggled with what to title this thread. I have multiple tackle boxes jam packed with lures. I know I don't neeeed to take as many lures on each fishing trip as I do, but you never know what you will need and I want to be prepared. I have two tackle boxes or bags for muskie fishing, another for walleye fishing, another for bass. Then I also have one for inshore saltwater, one for offshore saltwater, one for surf fishing, two for the kayak (fresh & salt). I have one for fly fishing, one for butterfly jigging and there are more. These are not just the individual boxes, these are bags with multiple boxes within. One of my muskie bags has 8 boxes. Am I alone in my affliction?

I only have 36 Rapalas, 8 bags of various soft plastics lures, some spoons and various spinners so I only need 2 boxes to carry the lure and put everything into my fishing backpack and fish.

I like the bag style lure storage systems as well. I have a yellow & black Plano Tackle Logic bag that I got some years ago. It's awesome, holds 4 plano 3600 boxes in the main compartment, I store another in the top with plenty if room left for a spinner box, some smaller plano boxes (for various terminal tackle), and still room for other gear. Also has four side pockets with binder rings built in for soft plastics, as well as two pockets on the front for pliers, scent bottles and such. A padded shoulder strap lets me carry the 50+ pound beast from truck to boat. I'll try to post a pic if I get a chance-

I have lots of lures in boxes, I only take one box on a fishing trip, according to the location I select the lures I would like te take with me and combine them in one box with some spare leaders. This box go in an old army bag together with an old army towel, 2 pairs of plyers and my fishing permit. I want to take with me a little as possible. This is my tacklebag: and closed, yes that is a Rapala badge on it

I just received the Cabelas Super Magnum bag today! Biggest tackle bag I've ever seen! Boy am I gonna have fun fillin it up! I got the same one last year or so. And it still wasnt big enough LOL. I managed to stick in a couple of slimmer profile boxes so now there is 14 boxes in there. It weighs a ton. Need it to keep the canoe balanced.

i have 2 lure boxes, but only ever take 1. Most of you guys will know what i mean when i say that i have a load of duff lures, most of them don't even wiggle, which i have no idea where i got them from. I throw all these into my big tackle box, along with spares and lures that work, but don't catch too many fish. In the smaller box, i put in all my favourites, and its strange, but i have every single rapala i own in there, and every single gavia. Gavia is a great company, and their lures are very cheap. Its annoying though how i seem to have so many lures, constantly trying to jam them all in the box. The lid on my box is bulging as i type this... lol

i keep all my tackle and lures in 5 or 6 big tackle boxes in my basement.then i but what i need for what i am fishing for in smaller hip packs and or shoulder bags.but i am now trying to set up all my tackle boxes and bags for a certain fish.so i can just grab it and go but sometimes it is hard to do.it is also tough to do when you fish for so many kinds of fish like me.i fish this river by my house for mainly trout but in this same river it is full of walleye, small mouth bass and stripers.so you have to carry light if you are going all day.the best thing i use is a fly finsing vest plus a should bag and fanny pack.they have alot of bockets to put thgings in...john

I have about 8 big boxes from Plano. I like the 6 tray boxes. I also have half a dozen of the clear Plano boxes for Spinnerbaits, micro baits and odds and ends. I usually grab a small clear plano and put a days worth of assorted lures to take with me. Big boxes are just for storage.

Along with my behemoth Plano Tackle Logic bag, I also have a Plano Over & Under set up just for Muskie fishing, a small Rubber-maid Lienenkugel promo tackle box stuffed with printed Rattlin' Raps and various assorted other "collectible" only type lures, and I have inherited my dad's old Kennedy hip-roof box stuffed with antique lures, reels, and paper fishing paraphernalia. My most recent purchase is a Plano kayak tackle vest I plan on using for short bank fishing excursions to the river close to my house this summer.

I have about 15-16 Plano type boxes that I have setup for different types of fishing. I grab my backpack, throw in the ones I think I am going to need depending on what fish are in the waters I'm fishing and head on out. I have thought about those super sized bags, but most times i am in rivers or sitting on the bank and don't want to have to lug 75-100 lbs every time I change to a new spot. It would be different if I had a boat....I would definitely need one for balance.
