yesterday i was able to go fishing, but i didnt catch anything. However, today was a different story, i caught a small pike and a perch, but i missed a lot of bites.
I had 5 bites and a follow in just a few hours fishing, and managed to catch my first fish on my rapala original.
My pike was on an abu reflex spinner, fished down deep. I had a good hit on the cast before, but didn't strike because i thought it was my lure bumping along the bottom, but i had another bite on the next cast from the same spot, which i landed.
I then had a fish follow my rapala original 7cm silver in to the bank, and shortly after, a large perch of about 1-1.5lb hit my lure, but i didnt strike because it grabbed it just a few inches from the bank. Next cast i had a bite, which i struck, and i landed a small perch that was probably less than twice the size of my lure, and i had another hit from a fish i couldn't see shortly afterwards.
All in all a good days fishing ;D
