hey guys, wondering if anyone can help me, i don't know much about multipliers/baitcasters because here in the UK, most people use fixed spool reels. I do have a baitcaster though, it is a shimano callisto, but it is left handed (right hand wind). I have a lot of trouble holding the rod in my left hand, especially when playing fish, as i am right handed. I don't want to buy a new reel as i don't have much money, and i don't want to swap it, as apart from it being left handed, it is an excellent reel. Does anyone know if you can get them modified cheaply? This may sound like a silly question, but like i said, i don't know much at all about multipliers. Thanks for your help

What I dont get is that I am right handed - yet opted for the LH model Curado - which makes sense if you think about it.
Why should you have to switch hands evertime you cast? Its stupid - I dont know why more right handed people dont get the left handed model anyway. If you are right handed, when using a spinning reel you are using your left to reel in, and right to hold the rod - why change everything around for a baitcaister?
It just makes a reel that is not easy to use even harder to use...

I dont think you can modify your existing reel, but for your next one get a LH model - it will make a world of difference...
