Ok guys, this is just for fun and not a contest of who has the most Rapala lures.
How many Rapala lures that you currently have and how many are Missing In Action (MIA)? Feel free to list them in details too.
I have a total of 36 in various models and sizes. MIA: 4

It is posts like this that make me wish I had a laptop to take into my fishing room. Between the collection and the tackle boxes I counted 568 total Rapala lures. Approximately 200 of those are in the collection. The rest are either hanging as spares, or in the various tackle boxes. As to how many are MIA? There is no telling. I might have missed counting out of a couple of tackle boxes.

When I started the topic I never thought to hear someone else other than Fishooked to have over 500 counts of Rapala. That is a staggering number, I don't even know if I could ever reach 100. But again I am only in my first year buying Rapala lures.

But again I am only in my first year buying Rapala lures. I know there are a lot of people here that have a lot more than me, I am sure that Jason probably has like eleventy-billion, bacon has lures falling out of cupboards and his fridge, and so forth and so on lol. I know for sure there are close to 800-1000 Rapalas in the store, more than half of those are just customs. I really dont 'collect' anymore, I guess my collection is whatever is in my tackle box....I haven't counted those up but its probably close to 300 or so... Which of just makes it a harder and longer decision on which lure to use...

I couldn't imagine the decision making process for you guys, I guess it is more like "So many lures so little time" rather than "so many fish so little time". Hey, that ought to be a good shirt wording.

i think we had this question here before.
i dont know how many i have, i guess i dont want to; or i am too lazy to count; and i admire everybody keeping track of their count on a daily basis. this is hard work and takes a lot of time.
especially if you do a little selling on the side, and buying boxes of 120 TE7, or 270 H13, or such ...
and i think it is not that much of how many Jason has, it is how many he has that nobody else has or will ever have.
we have seen rapala selling at 100, 150, or even 200+ $$.
and i know some you can not get out of there for $300, $400, or $500.
and that is what i call a collector.
keep on going, wolfgang

Hey, that ought to be a good shirt wording. This is true - and since time is so precious, when it does come time to getting out on the water, - one does not want to waste it by trying lures and experimenting, but rather catching fish. I always start off with using a model or color I havent had success with, but impatience gets the better of me soon enough and I always fall back on the old reliables - basically anything Silver or Shad colored ;D

Ok, you guys made me count em. I just started a few months ago and I've got 121, and about a dozen on the way. Collecting them is addictive, isn't it.
