I have not used any of these before. I was looking at some of the models and shapes and wondering on how they work for walleyes and the actions. The main ones I was looking at were the bullhead, hornet, minnow, and perch. Any help to make me understand these bait better would be great.
P.S. How do they troll?

I'd been meaning to add some to my tackle box - after all, Poland isn't exactly famous for much, other than kielbasi and Polish jokes I believe OverStock Bait has some in stock at some great prices, way below retail - www.overstockbait.com/?Click=1927

For me Salmo at the moment are making the best lures for fishing pike. We use them a lot, much more then we use Rapala lures. Most of the lures we use are between 5 and 10 inch. Lures are great for trolling, relatively cheap and are of great quality.

I agree with dutchie on the price to quality thing but I mostly keep using rapala's Salmo's are made from a foam like material. this is what makes it so cheap. I like using wooden lures instead.. altough I use plastic rapala's too.
I sold almost all of my Salmo's but kept 2 of em. the Tiny Lovebug and a frisky shallow chrome.

For me there are four brands of lures i would never be without in my tacklebox, those four being rapala, salmo, abu garcia & savage gear. In my opinion the salmos are every bit as good as the rapalas, true there lures are made from foam and not balsa. The paint jobs and action on the lures are second to none. Plus some of the colours are better than rapalas stock colours and the fact that salmo do a SDR range as well (something that rapala could really be doing with as well).

I use a lot of the Hornets and the Bullheads and can say from experience that these are deadly on walleye, bass and trout. Still own 20 times more Rapalas - but I just can't help to fish with other hot baits and "feed" my addiction!

I have used the Boxer & Pike lures in N.C. for lmb & have had good success the pike kinda look like baby chain pickeral & really look good in the water. The boxer has had better results though. Definetly my 2nd favorite lures,, still have a tackle box full of Rapalas but leave a few spots for Salmos

I'm starting to catch walleyes and trout on the Salmo Minnow as well - it has a more aggressive roll than the Original Floater - seems to work better in warmer water. Starting to collect a few now too - espcially the ones in the paper boxes!
