I would like to know if you recommend Glidin raps, X-rap jointed and Super shad raps for bass fishing.. Ive read they are good for pike, but what about bass. There are no pikes on the lake I fish, I wonder if it is worth buying a couple of each. What about walleye and trolling for stripers.

I just wish they made a smaller version - something like a GLR10 would be perfect, since they already have the Twitchin Rap as a size 8...

If you look at those guys in California throwing those giant swimbaits for bass (which they catch MONSTERS on) they should work.

I would only recomend them if you are fishing in areas such as Florida, Texas or California where the bass get BIG. However, if you fish in the northern area of the contry, I would not use them at all for Bass. I use Super Shad Raps for Musky and only get a bass on them once in a great while. Even then, they are not always larger than average.

I just bought some super shad raps for muskie fishing. I would like to try the GL15 also, if I can find a place to buy any reasonably priced!!

The bass in my area don't get HUGE, but they get pretty big in some instances. I'd love to try a GLR on them, if they would only make them in smaller sizes.

Got an 8 pound, early summer walleye on a silver blue glidin' rap this last year and it is just dynamite for pike in many situations. I also really wish they would make a smaller version as well. I have made efforts to try and make a similar lure in the appropriate size but cannot replicate the action quite right. I just got a super shad rap this winter and can't wait to bag a few giant pike on it this year, just need the ice to go away. There is no reason why these lures wouldnt work for bass provided large enough, agressive fish.
