You guys might not believe this but I actually caught my first fish on a Rapala today! 
I don't get the chance to go fishing very often so today I actually managed to catch something ;D
I'm not sure exactly what it is though. It's a member of the grouper family but not sure which it is. Perhaps Mycteroperca rubra or Epinephelus costae?
I caught it on a Floating Magnum 9.
Strange thing though, when I was searching Google to find what kind of Grouper it was, I came across this:

Anyway, the day was great and, although no more fish, the sea was flat calm
and I was able to experiment with my Skitter Pop and Skitter Walk - very nice.
As soon as I got there, just as it was starting to get light, I saw a Little Tunny (like a fat Mackerel) jump clean out of the water - probably chasing small fry.
All in all it was a great day - middle of winter here - but somebody forgot to tell the somebody as we have been having temps from 14 - 30 C!
