Ok this may be almost impossible for some, but how many different Rapalas does every one have....? No need to list every one. Just looking for numbers.

well, you mean like different styles, sizes, and colors, or combination of all catagories, or just total lures. in total im hovering in the 4000 lure area i think right now, but once i get up that high, it starts to get really hard to keep a close count, so i just guess

Man I havent done an accurate count in a long time . Id say im at well over 3000 in my collection . And theres probably another 4 - 5000 various Rapala things around here that some day will hit the auction block .

Thanks Bacon. Looking for the # owned. You got me on that one. Maybe I'd do a recount in the spring when its time to get a new tackle box. Right now I have 8 3700 boxes that are just totally jammed, so maybe its time to move up to the Cabelas Magnum with 12 3750 boxes...  |

I'm at about 1100 in my collection which is a lot more than I thought I would have in only a years time  In my tackle boxes I would say about 150 to 200 with the DTFAT01 being my favorite bass crank and F-9 for Walleye  |

well, since we have had some quite rough guesstimates here, i´ll put mine in too.
some CC (stands for: crazy californian) gave me the RCV (stands for: rapala collecting virus) some time back in dec. 2006.
even if we never met, i got it bad, seems to have been one of these infamous internet-virus-infections ...
no wonder it worked so fast, since one of the most heavily infected guys i know of gave it to me.
anyway, even if i started to make lists about 2 years ago, and had to make one for the tax office a few months ago, i never actually counted them all.
i have a list for my old favorites such as CDJ, J13, F18, CD7, RNR7, SSR8, H13, FR7, DRFR7, old vintage, but i am out of CD7, RNR7, H13, SSR8, so this is changing on an almost daily basis; while for the new stuff like F3, CD3, MFR3, TD7, MR7, SP7, and so on i have not made lists yet.
so a very rough guess would be i am at somewhere from 500-1000 now, and about 1000-2000 went through my hands within the last 4 years, and lead (i hope) a happy live now in some of your homes.
i havent noted all sent out from the beginning, but very early, so the list of what i sent out would be the most easy for me to do.
anybody out there has a complete and up-to-date list of what he got?
almost forgot, i am not using rapala for fishing that much ...

I have a few rare ones but not many  And if Rapala's in the USA cost as much as they do in Europe   I wouldn't be fishing with them either  |

im with wolfgang as far as keeping lists ,  i did but they change so much i forget to correct them, im not in the same league as jason or bacon, i have my collection of countdown of 140, magnum cd 7 at 30 and model collection about 90-100, also about 250-300 countdown 5, 7 ,9 for use when needed, and a box i dont know what to do with yet so i guess i have about 600 new in the box of all types, and about 30 i have in the bag to use now ,well if i lose my work i will never need to purchase a lure to fish with , well i dont smoke any more and only drink from time to time so this is my only vice besides fishing. |

lol, if you ask my wife, they are everywhere, well, shes right. there is hardly a room in the house that doesnt have at least one or two. the basement is a warzone of lures, boxes and totes everywhere maybe someday i will get it done so i can start displaying everything. |

I have 3,473 rapala right now. I do keep a list going and mark them down every time I get a new one. It takes the guess work out of knowing if I need it or have it.

I have started to record mine to keep track of them. Also I guess I want to know the amount I spent on them in case I would have to sell them....My collection keeps growing! I'm up to about 300 now.
