Panfish...

It might be coinencendence but I always seem to catch bigger fish with panfish crank's than with shad baits. I thought about just painting one white with the bright orange scales on the belly and see if that's what set's them off! Well here's 2 I painted up last night. A bluegill and a warmouth.. ( I know steve's going to chime in and tell you there not rapala's so figured I beat him to the punch) lol... Their dt knockoff's..

Barry I think I may need to start throwing some panfish/sunfish patterns myself.

Come to think of it, the only 'forage' around my lake Ive seen are yellow perch, crappie, and sunfish - and yet have not used those patterns yet.


One day fishing with my daughter with her barbie pole, she hooks a sunny that immediately gets chased around by a 4lb largemouth!

After she reeled it in, I hooked the sunny in the mouth, then threw it back out there. Sure enough I hooked that bastard! But the link broke when he swam under the dock...


Anyway I love your panfish patterns and expect to get some!
