I just noticed while window shopping some of these customs at the rapala market, that in some of them the eye of the fish looks very realistic. Some look like their squinting or half open. I haven't seen any other eyes like that before and thought it was a really cool detail!!!!

Actually if you look closely, you can see that the eye is actually cut part off, then added to the lure. When added to the molded eye, it gives the appearance that they are partially closed...pretty neat.
