jigging half a worm

hi guys, not rapala today but a salmon that would only chase but not take, so i used half a worm kept sinking the worm to him and pulling it away to tempt a take

a good tip with pike, i don't know about salmon is to do a "figure of 8" at the end of each retrieve. This is basically pulling the rod left then right or vice versa. The fish thinks its meal is getting away and grabs it quick. A good tip to try next time they just keep following it over and over again Try it and see if it makes any difference.

jigging is a way of putting life into the shrimp method, but can work with the worm but just not often, fish that show all the sighns of wanting a bait but just dont commit are suckers for this method, 30yrs of doing this for salmon, guess you have to learn some things, even my local anglers dont fish like this. but that hatcam is great , the dvd's are much better than the youtube , if like me you keep a season record , what better than a video diary
