I know most of us use rapala lures when fishing, but if you use a bucktail jig for jigging walleye, I might be able to save you some money. I make jigs in sizes 1/32 and 1/16 ounce with mainly deer hair. I do the heads in about 12 different colors, including 4 glow colors, and the hair in like 8 colors.
I use them mainly down by the dam where there is nothing but rocks, and I have to fish from shore or in chest waders. I pick up walleye, white bass (silvers), stripers, wipers, and crappie.
I got tired of paying 1.29 to 1.89 for a jig only to lose a few each trip. I can make them for 50 cents.
I have 1,000 jig heads ordered and once I get some more made, I will post a pic assortment. I don't paint eyes on my jigs.
