Was out doing some fall bass / pike fishing, during the past 2-3 days.
It was dry dry dry, no bites and was starting to get frustrated.
Decided to test my luck in an area with mega weeds, and it paid off!
Was drifting by the shoreline in about 8-10 feet of water, and BAM, felt my lure get gobbled up.
Pull the fish up, and it was a MONSTER largemouth bass (for that area)
measuring 17 inches in length, from mouth to tail.
The lure that I used? The most unexpected pattern on a good lure:
MR07 Rapala Minnow Rap in Hot-Tiger Pattern.
Don't have the video uploaded right now, but it made for some very chunky filets ;D
