Been a tough few outings on the lake as of late. Went out Saturday morning and I knew it would be a slow day. I also lost 3 decent bass as well. But this one made my day, hell he made my weekend! Silver DT-FAT03 was the ticket! I didn't have a scale so I dont know how much he was, maybe 4lbs? Not sure but he did measure 20" long The rest of the day this was all I could muster: Pickerel was on a Dutch Fork Custom Lures Gold Krome DT-THUG i116.photobucket.com/albums/o38/fishooked/Fishing/fishing09182-.jpg[/IMG] Pretty slow day, but its amazing how that first fish just put me in a great mood all weekend..

Nice bass on the DT. Is it really that chilly on the East coast already? I noticed the fleece and gloves in the pictures. One request though, please stop taunting us with the Clackin' Crank! It's good to know that it catches though-

It's good to know that it catches though- LOL, sorry about that - no taunting intended! Its not cold during the day right now, but the temps were in the 40s when I got on the lake that morning, which was around 5am. I usually overdress but it was definitely needed. I learned my lesson the hard way its better to be prepared and be warm and comfortable instead of cold and miserable LOL

Isn't it funny how a slimy cold blooded creature can put a smile on your face and make you feel warm inside!! Bet the cool weather was the last thing on your mind when you hooked that one! Great fun! Nice fish!

Thanks everyone! Knowing that there are bass of this size in this lake is what brings me back all here all the time - especially that if there are 4 & 5lb bass in here, that somewhere in there there has to be a couple of monsters! Somewhere... ;D
