 Hi Guys, I finally caught my first ever Salmon last week, taken on Rapala CD07 Vampire.  Still cant believe it... :-) That's a nice looking salmon - how heavy was it? You also got a fancy looking vest there. Are they easy to come by/cheap? |

Hello, Salmon was just a shade over 6lb, and quite a fresh fish, only been in the river a day or two. Put up quite a fight but was well hooked. The vest is a Greys GRXi Fly Vest, easy to come by, not so cheap i guess, around 120GBP. A great investment for me mind, has loads of pockets, clips etc.. and is good quality. I can leave my bag in the car and bring everything I need in the vest. :-) |
