I didn't weigh it, i would estimate it at just under 20lb. It wasn't caught on a rapala this time, this was on a lamprey deadbait on one of my handmade size 1 catfish pro single hook rigs. The blood was not through damage, as we all know we all get the occasional fish that bleeds for some reason. The pike is covered in tut because it wiggled off the landing mat and into all the wood shavings and muck on the floor. Attachments:

Tom, that's a nice looking pike. Did he put up much of a fight?

you bet it did, they all do there. They don't take long to come in, they get tired quickly, but when they pull, there's no stopping them! One tiny pike my dad caught which was about 3 or 4 pounds snapped up 20lb line just before it got to the net!
