May be a dumb question but I will ask simply because I don't know...
Is the J-5 a plastic lure only? I can't remember ever seeing a J-5 balsa.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Chris Actually its not a dumb question at all...I think early on they were wood, but the newer ones are clearly plastic. I am not exactly sure when they started doing that, probably within the last 8-10 years maybe? |

Size J-5 came out in year 2001. I don´t know are they balsa lure. But my IMO is: Belly have plastics moulding (lath,list) it´s made of balsa. if no it´s all plastics (only size 5) Don´t want to take my "puukko" and check it out, is this right  |

Only J-5's I have seen around here where I live are indeed plastic. Can anyone say for sure if there are balsa ones available?
