Was killing some time in between driving my daughter to her different activities, walked the fishing aisles at Dick's, stumbled upon a red tagged XR-12 in Glass Ghost color. Didn't have any x-raps in this size, and not really any rapalas in this color period, so at a marked price of $4.93, I carried it to the register. The cashier rang it up, and to my surprise there was some additional unadvertised discount for some reason. I ended up being charged only $3.70! I was pumped! The other XR-12s were marked $10.99. It was the only one on the rack, so I don't know if Dick's is going to stop carrying this color or what. I enjoyed the excellent deal though.

That is a darn good deal in anyone's book.Once in awhile that happens when you get to the register and find out you get even more of a discount.
I always go right back to the fishing aisles and see if there are anymore that I may have missed.

'These must really work!' 'Not sure, but at least they are on sale!'

The Dicks where I live does that from time to time too. Sometimes if they have a bunch of something marked down you can ask the manager for a better price based on the quanity you buy. They've done that for me a few times in the past. I bought a pile of Storm Chug Bugs a few years back and ended up getting them for around a buck each.
