Thanks for your warm welcome... Yes that fish was a cubera snapper, arround 23 pounds, caugth from shore... I'm going to open a new thread with more photos, some snook, roosterfish, and some fresh water fish, and eventually I will be posting some of my "chewed" lures...

Thanks, Dave Chaves Costa Rica Dave, Welcome aboard! I'm always happy to see people involved with Rapala come by and enjoy our site. Thanks for the kind words about the site - it would be nothing without its members though! I wish I could be made an honorary Pro Staff member... what does one have to do and what sort of qualifications if any are there? Welcome once again, Regards, Ted

Thanks Fishooked... I dont know how the Pro Staff works up there... Down here, it's really hard to get in, you need to prove that you're an excellent fisherman in each enviroment, fresh and saltwater, pass your knowledge to less expirienced people, write in international fishing forums and magazines, make seminars to teach other fisherman to use properly each lure and technique to get maximun effectivity... And one of the most important things, down here we are part of this select group just for pride....
