I thought I had caught my last fish of the year weeks ago, but fortunately I was wrong!! It was almost 65 degrees today, so I figured I'd give it a try even though I don't usually catch anything this late in the year. Things started slowly, but after a while I finally got a bite on a senko. At least then I knew something was biting. I moved to a different spot, and tied on an F-9 in purpledescent. For some reason that was the trick. I caught 5 bass in about a half hour, all with the same lure, and all in the same small little stretch of the creek that runs off of my local lake. I usually don't ever do that well in one small spot, let alone in November!! Then, I log on here to discuss(brag about) my catch, and find out I won the RapalaNation Random Raptacular this month!! Good day for me fellas, good day!!

Got back out again today, and fished every F-9 I own, except for the 3 I had success with earlier this weekend(PD, BHO, BP). I started out with the vampire color, because it was the only one I own that I had never caught anything with.
Got a crappie first, then a bass on the next cast. Got 2 more bass a little later, until I decided to change and see if I could catch something on all of my F-9's.
Got 1 bass each on all these colors: FT, TR, S, YP, B. My only F-9 not to catch a bass this weekend was SFC, which I did get a few hits on before I had to leave.

Got 'em all this time!!
After nearly catching a bass on all my F-9's over the weekend, I decided to try to get a bass with each one in one day. Work got canceled this morning, so I decided to try it today. It took a few hours but I eventually got it done. I even added a crappie on my SFC(guess it was making up 4 the weekend).
Unlike this weekend though, I actually got myself a big boy today!! He came on my F-9 Trout. He was big enough for me to pull out the scale, only to realize the battery had finally died(been 3 yrs). I had a replacement, but just recently gave that away. I would have to say it was between 2.5, 3lbs. Certainly a worthwhile bass in my neck of the woods!!
Then I walk up to my front door and see a package sticking out of my mailbox!! NICE!!!
