Very nice but I think It would be nicer if you could keep the running-lip clean..

Very nice but I think It would be nicer if you could keep the running-lip clean.. Normally I completely tape the lips off but since these are heading to my tackle box I wasn't too concerned about the lip being clean. I really appreciate your opinion on these keesvanderlaak I also think when the lips are clean it makes the lure look better

Hi all.
well, i have some very nice custom paints from Steve, and i still wonder how he covered these diving lips all up as if they are no paint jobs.
to tell the truth, even if most may prefer it this way, i like when you see you have a custom painted one in hand. especially on colors like SFC, B, PW, PH and such, i think it is nice the way the blue FR-7 in top picture has the lip.
you can clearly see it is a painted rapala.
with all the cheating and trying to cheat going on ebay lately, and some of us having been cheated by sellers selling you bad pics of bad paint jobs, stating "all original rapala" this way you never run in danger of being accused trying to sell a painted rapala as original. and believe me, some buyers will say they thoguht it was original even when "custom painted" is given in item description or title line ...
thats what i think.
and sorry, i think the J13 has too many stripes.
Steve, do you have a name for the blue one in top pic?
best, wolfgang
