Whats your favorite fishing shows, new or old?
I like to watch the River Monsters show that airs on Animal Planet channel here in the states, a new season is scheduled for April. After that would be Larry Dahlbergs "Hunt for big Fish" and of course the old classics of Bill Dance, Roland Martin and Jimmy Houston.

Love river monsters. And for some reason that bastard John Gillespie always captivates me. I swear that even a two pound walleye he makes sound like walter. It is unbelievable how excited he gets while he fishes! Dont get me wrong i love to fish but there is no way im gonna let everyone on the lake know i have one on. Haha he is quite a trip

My favourite show is the Lindner's Angling Edge. I used to watch it on MyOutdoorsTV, but apparently it's not available anymore and here in Portugal the fishing network rarely shows any US or Canadian programmes.

I'll second the Lindner's Angling Edge, as well as Babe Winkelman's Good Fishing. Another good one is Mark Romanack's Fishing 411 - great information.

River monsters is a good one, and IMO Lindner's Angling edge was the best show for learning new tactics. Bill Dance is always a comedy to watch, but his tactics IMO aren't that great because he always fishes on ponds with monster bass every catch

i still like in fisherman, even though the lindners are out. I do also like lindners angling edge, even if we jokingly call it jigging with jesus. we kid because we love, Al. other then that, surfing youtube can sometimes yield some very interesting finds. bacon
