I was wanting to know BESIDES Rapalas, what are your Smallmouth bass lures?
I use Booyah Spinnerbaits in the pond size. Bagleys Bang-o stickbaits, Strike Kings Wild Shiner, Bomber Long A, A.C Shiner models 250, 300 and 450. Mepps and Rooster Tails inline spinners and Rebel Pop R's.
Lets hear what you have hooked Smallies on.

My goto Smallie bait is definitely a tube jig.I have caught more Smallies on these then ANY other bait.
The Lucky Craft pointers and live pointers have been good to me as well.

Yesir. When youre thinkin smallies think crayfish. By far their favorite food. I do very well also on senkos in either 4 or 5 inch. Also Storm Hot N Tots are probably my biggest producing lure for any fish, small mouth included. One secret i have too is a Norman Mad N, its a shallow running square lipped crankbait that they just love!

if you fly fish for them i can post some photo's of really cool looking flies i made that work great i love fishing for them and boy what a fight if you get one in fast water.john...

Yep, I would like to see your Smallmouth Fly! I have caught a few on a flyrod with poppers, need to do more of that.

What size hooks are we talkin on those? I tie my own flies, have been for a few years now. What a fun hobby but its about as expensive as this Rapala stuff, also have my Storms and everything else. Loving the outdoors is getting way too pricey these days. Eh what are you gonna do, gotta stick with what you love. If anyone needs any fly tying material im sure i have what youre looking for send me a pm

Nice looking flies John!! As I said I havn't done alot of fly fishing but I buy Wal-Mart fly poppers and have caught some Smallmouth on them. Havn't done any flyfishing in the last couple years.
