very nice job indeed, but in fact,.. just because they aren't rapala colours they look like the no named replica lures you often find on the discount shelf. no offence though. dont get me wrong. Like I said, very nice Job, I could not do this better!

Ill try and stick my foot in Kees mouth for him.....Hahahah......No but i think that maybe it is just because of the eyes. If they werent stick on eyes you would never know the difference. Just trying to justify it though i do agree with you Kees. On the other hand Steve i am in no way trying to discount you, i have seen countless lures by you and i have loved every one of them. These are no different

Keenan, It is not about the eyes, it is the total thing of custom painted lures.. It has nothing to do with if they are nice looking or not. I sure can appreciate a nicely custom painted J-11 but it would never make it to my collection just because it was custom painted and for that mather it is instantly looking like a replica or fake to me. I know, it is a bit of a hypocrete thing since I am throwing out of all the boxes cause they don't mean anything to me. Original colour is very important to me.
Don't get me wrong though, I think these J-13's are very nicely done! so please don't be offended. this is a personal thing I guess.

I think they look great! I love the color choices it seems to me the person painting them has a good understanding of midwest fishing.
