I walked in to a small outdoors buy/sell/trade place today and there they were, hanging on a rack. The gentlemen had just opened up and he had thousands of lures that the wife of a Rapala collector had sold to him. Her husband had died, and she just needed to clean out the basement. I got them for 4 bucks a piece ) The lids and boxes show signs of their age and were covered in dust but the lures are absolutely immaculate. I'm afraid to even touch them they look so good! Haha, I can't believe the hangtags and everything are still perfect. Whoever had these was obviously a collector, and I guess he forgot to tell his wife what they were worth before he died! They ended up at a small tackle store.
Thanks loosecannon, they do look really great, I know why people try to find the old raps with old paint now.... cause they are beautiful.
Beka, how much did you pay/where did you find your SFR 5 and FR 7 in GFR?
